Grassroots Servant Leadership: The Who, What, How of Stoa

Stoa’s mission is to train homeschool students to speak boldly and change the world for Christ. The first step in that process is making homeschool families aware of Stoa’s great offerings and benefits. The dedicated Stoa Marketing Committee volunteers are focused on encouraging the development of new local clubs, supporting the growth of existing clubs, and increasing the awareness of Stoa. Chaired by Josh Axelberd, the committee uses each member’s unique skills to accomplish these objectives. Some exciting marketing projects they are currently working on include:

Homeschool Conventions: The committee trains local hosts, creates booth displays and brochures, and oversees all shipping logistics. Hundreds of families are introduced to Stoa at local homeschool conventions each year.

New Club Marketing Support: This fall, the committee is connecting with new club leaders to provide resources and support needed to promote their clubs (e.g., convention support, promotional videos, or printed brochures).

Video Content Development: This season they will be conducting video interviews with students, alumni, and parents to develop new video content explaining the benefits of Stoa participation. These will be available on our website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms.
