Grassroots Servant Leadership: The Who, What, How of Stoa
This month we direct our attention to the committee that keeps our tournaments running.
The Tools and Tabulation Committee supports and maintains the technology required for smooth Stoa operations. Chaired by Mike Diaz, their main focus is to provide assistance with Stoa's current tournament tools, including Flowpad, StoaTraX, Joy of Tournaments, and Speechranks. Additionally, the committee has been working on a new software tool that will replace all four existing ones. This update will significantly enhance the technology experience within Stoa.
Consistent meetings with the software developer give the committee the opportunity to provide valuable feedback and suggestions. The development of the software is well underway and will be thoroughly tested at various tournaments throughout the 2023-2024 season. The goal of the Tools and Tabulation Committee is to have the new software ready to implement for the 2024-2025 tournament season. This update could only be done through the generosity and financial support of Stoa members.
